REALTORS® of Arizona Political Action Committee—RAPAC

What is RAPAC and its importance to the member, industry, and consumer?

More than 15% of all proposed legislation introduced at the Capitol each year affects REALTORS®. That amounts to hundreds of bills each year and possibly costing you thousands of dollars. An investment in RAPAC is like an insurance policy on your business to protect you and your client. It protects and promotes your interests in the various cities, towns, and communities in Arizona. In order to change laws, we have to be proactive and support pro-business and pro REALTOR® lawmakers. RAPAC creates a way to have your voice heard.

RAPAC investors realize the importance of supporting REALTOR® Champion candidates and elected officials so that our ability to own real estate and our own business can continue. As a REALTOR®, you're a guardian and protector of private property rights for your clients, yourself, and your communities. Each time you write a lease or sale contract and represent your client well, you are ensuring the legacy of private property ownership. learn more about RAPAC (AAR) | learn about RPAC (NAR)

Major Investor Levels

Since 1969, the NAR REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has promoted the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. In Arizona, we call it RAPAC, REALTORS® of Arizona Political Action Committee.

The purpose of RAPAC is clear: voluntary contributions made by REALTORS® are used to help elect candidates who understand and support their interests. These are not members’ dues; this is money given freely by REALTORS® in recognition of the importance of the political process. RAPAC and other political fundraising are the keys to protecting and promoting the real estate industry.

RAPAC’s Major Investors are an elite and passionate group of REALTORS® whose investments shape the political future of the real estate industry. Major Investors are eligible to participate in the RAPAC Recognition Program, with specific benefits and accolades that acknowledge their support of RAPAC.

Investing in RAPAC allows us to determine the quality of our future in the industry. With a minimum annual investment of $1,000, there are four levels within the RAPAC Major Investor Program, Sterling R, Crystal R, Golden R, and Platinum R. Log into your nar.realtor account to view the benefits of the four RAPAC Major Investor levels.
